Programs and Education

The Hellenic Community of Vancouver (HCV) offers program for all its members, young and old, and to the community at large.

Since its beginning in the late 1920s, one of the main goals of the HCV is to preserve the Greek language and culture. Our Greek Language School has been instrumental in preserving the Greek language to the youth of our community and continues to pass on this legacy to the next generation.

Our Greek Language School has almost 200 students enrolled, six days a week, and our Sunday School program has over 100 students strong, where they learn about the Greek Orthodox faith.
