Hellenic Community Centre & Church Redevelopment

New Entrance Plaza and Atrium

A welcoming new entrance plaza and atrium will serve as a central gathering point, creating a strong visual and social connection between the church and community centre. This space is designed to be open, light-filled, and inviting for daily use and special events.

Community Café

The proposed café will provide a warm and informal space for members and visitors to gather, connect, and socialize. Positioned near the main circulation areas, the café will encourage interaction before and after services, events, and programs.

Multi-Purpose Hall

A flexible multi-purpose hall will support a wide range of activities, including community events, cultural programs, lectures, celebrations, and performances. Designed for adaptability, this space will serve both small gatherings and larger community functions.

Offices and Administrative Spaces

New and improved office areas will support the operational needs of the Community. These spaces are designed to enhance efficiency while remaining accessible and welcoming to members seeking assistance or information.

Community Library

The new library will provide a dedicated space for learning, research, and quiet reflection. It will support educational programs, cultural preservation, and access to Hellenic and community resources for all ages.

Enhanced Church Entrance and Connectivity

Improvements to the church entrance and internal connections will strengthen the relationship between worship spaces and community areas, improving flow, accessibility, and overall visitor experience.

Events Balcony and Outdoor Seating

An elevated events balcony with adjacent outdoor seating will create new opportunities for social gatherings, receptions, and community events. This space extends community life outdoors while maintaining strong visual connections to the interior.

Sanctuary and Interior Enhancements

Planned interior upgrades to the sanctuary and church corridors will enhance the worship experience while respecting the sacred character and architectural identity of the church. Improvements focus on comfort, functionality, and visual harmony.

Modernized Facilities

Upgraded washrooms, corridors, and support spaces will improve accessibility, comfort, and usability throughout the complex, ensuring the facilities meet modern standards while serving the needs of all community members.
